Nicholas County Cooperative Extension Service

The Extension Service is an Extension of the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University.

The dedicated staff of the Nicholas County Extension Office are committed to making a difference in the life of all Nicholas Countians. We are trained professionals and paraprofessionals striving to educate the public in the areas of agriculture, natural resources, soil conservation, family and consumer sciences, 4-H youth development, and food and nutrition. We are your connection to UK and are honored to serve you in this role.

We are able to provide educational resources and materials through many different programs.  We can provide publications, workshops, classes, newsletters, websites, as well as a personal contact to the University.
